Jeff started his journey after graduating high school from James M. Bennett in1981, leading him to Florida, where he found his true passion in working in the yachting Industry. Owner of Berg’s Yacht Refinishing, working on Mega/Superyachts would take him and his sons all around the world. He would become a MASTER in his trade, with over 40 years’ experience. His love for fishing would be instilled in him as a small child by his grandfather, Clifton (Hots) Savage. Hands down he was the Miami Dolphin’s #1 fan, never missing a game. NASCAR, cooking and music, he was a man of many talents and a perfectionist at all he did in life. You could always find Jeff on Sunday Morning’s watching CBS Sunday Morning listening to the trumpets blow.
So, here’s to JEFF- The Man The Myth The Legend, a man who lived, loved, and left behind a wake of laughter. As he sets sails into the sunset, we imagine him waving, wearing his Dolphins hat with that infectious smile he had, saying “HOW U DOIN” …. reminding us to add a lot of comedy and laughter to our lives. Until we meet again, may your sea’s roll forever.
